Morris Brown College

Sunday School Union

The AMEC Sunday School Union is the Publishing House for the African Methodist Episcopal Church. The Sunday School Union, founded in 1882 by Charles S. Smith, was established to promote Sunday School curriculum to students and teachers of African Methodism.



The Christian Recorder

The official website for the official newspaper of the ConnectionalAMEChurch. The Christian Recorder is the oldest existing black periodical in America, and the only one in the United States whose existence dated before the Civil War.



Turner Theological Seminary

Turner Theological Seminary is a constituent denominational seminary of the Interdenominational Theological Center (ITC), whose mission is to prepare men and women for ministry in the African Methodist Episcopal Church tradition and the global community. Through the ITC, the goal of Turner Theological Seminary is to educate and nurture men and women to engage in the practice of a liberating and transforming spirituality; through the exercise of academic discipline, religious, gender and cultural diversity; and justice and peace.
